Automobile

A modern vehicle carries hundreds of cold-forged and cold-headed parts — bolts, studs, pins, ball joints, shafts. Almost every one of them starts as bright steel wire. Our wire goes to the component makers who supply India’s leading vehicle manufacturers.

Electric vehicles

Electric two-wheelers and cars remove the engine, but not the steel. Motor shafts, suspension, fasteners and battery-pack structures all use cold-formed parts — often lighter and higher-strength than before, which puts more weight on the wire’s consistency.

Agricultural equipment

Farm machinery works in dust, mud and shock loads. Linkage pins, PTO shafts, implement bolts and harvester parts need steel that is tough, weldable where needed, and easy to machine in the job shops that make them.

Civil & construction

Construction uses steel wire in ways you see — wire rope on cranes, anchors, mesh — and ways you don’t, like the high-strength bolts in a steel structure. Here, clean surface and uniform properties decide how the wire behaves when it is stranded or headed.

Solar

Solar plants stand outdoors for 25 years. Their mounting structures are held together by thousands of fasteners and clips that must be galvanised, strong, and dimensionally consistent so installation crews can move fast.

Applications

Cold forging

Wire is cut to slugs and forged at room temperature into bolts, studs, pins and ball joints. Needs a soft, spheroidised structure and a flawless surface.

Shock absorbers & springs

Coiled and heat-treated into suspension springs and rods. Needs consistent chemistry so every spring reaches the same rate.

Wire rope

Many wires are stranded together into rope for lifting and construction. Needs uniform size and strength wire to wire.
